It is time we the people take matters into our own hands - as part of this year’s Festival of Debate, ANTIPARTY is honoured to host Fiona Barrows and Natasha Ereira-Guyer for what promises to be an invigorating discussion on how a more direct democracy can work in practice.
Fiona Barrows is an Independent Town Councillor in Frome, Somerset, and one of the co-founders of People Powered Politicians - a movement of politicians at all levels of government who are building a new kind of politics. One that is not defined by left or right but by our commitment to people power and political change.
Natasha Ereira-Guyer is the Founder Director of Civil Society Consulting (CSC), a values-led non-profit supporting charitable organisations survive and thrive in order to achieve social impact. To truly serve communities from the bottom up, CSC launched 32 Steps to Togetherness, a valuable resource to tackle loneliness and social fragmentation in society.
Plus our surprise special guest, Patrick from Cooperation Hull!
